Position Type:  Full-time, hourly

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and supervising of taproom staff, inventory management, and day-to-day management of the taproom including proper opening, closing and mid-shift procedure
• Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer, including basic understanding of beer production
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document real-time issues in a fast-paced environment
• Work with vendors, brew team, and Amherst brewery to maintain proper inventory levels
• Build, train, and manage a retail team
• Create and implement SOPs

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Prior bar / restaurant management experience
• Must be over 21 years of age
• Great work ethic, must be able to work unsupervised 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people
• Willingness to learn
• Aptitude for and desire to learn the mechanical workings of taproom equipment in order to address problems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to multitask effectively 

Hours

40+ hrs. / week, full benefit package
