One of the most sought‑after beers in Wisconsin
Black Gold is an imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for three years. This is one of our most limited releases, and consistently among the top rated beers in the state.
Aromas of cocoa, and vanilla, with hints of oak and vanilla. On the palate, a decadent mix of bittersweet chocolate, and caramel, rounded out by the warmth of bourbon.
For this year’s variant we blended in coffee and real maple syrup to compliment the roasty cocoa notes with bold coffee and complex notes of caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar.
