Job Title: Laboratory Manager
Position Type: Full-time, hourly

Job Description / Responsibilities:
Oversee laboratory and all quality operations
Packaging analysis, including but not limited to DO, CO2, pressure, and overall packaging integrity
Daily microbiological sampling, plating, and analysis, including plating, use of differential media, colony
identification and characterization, and real time PCR
Independently and proactively initiate, manage, document and present projects to improve quality/consistency
and brewery processes
Assist with daily fermentation monitoring
Maintain calibration and proper operation of laboratory equipment, ensure accuracy and reliability of
measurements, and refine SOPs
Identify, troubleshoot, and document real-time quality issues in a fast-paced environment
Oversee barrel aging program
Review current, and create and implement SOPs as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable science (preferred)
Great work ethic, must be able to work unsupervised
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn
Ability to multitask effectively
